Description of Challenge:

The use of Internet and information technology has drawn the interest from different business segments as it may be applied in a great number of areas, from vertical to transversal, from strategic to operational so that the opportunities are distributed among production, storage, transmission and access to the use of information. New technologies have threatened the business models of virtually all companies in different sectors; the opportunities also present several challenges yet to be overcome involving cyber security and crimes, effective use of disperse information, quality and reliability of information, the consumers’ increasing expectation, commoditization of applications and others.
