Data Automation Challenge

About the Challenge

Given the huge amount of data generated and several existing tools to store and work with new information, data automation is crucial to extract the best value of data.

Johnson & Johnson is searching for startups with experience in data automation, specially using Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to simulate a human step-by-step data extraction process, according to the following steps:

1. Download compressed files from supplier portal.
2. Open supplier software, installed on a virtual machine to extract data (.csv).
3. Transfer the data on shared folder.
4. Data validation, according to the format rules of the files, value sums, etc.
5. Success/failure email sending to sponsors.

Obs: There are approximately 400 files per month, yielding around 6 GB.

1. Each stage and location are expected from the startups?
Challenge is open to startups in any development stage (prototype, MVP or commercial). Startups can be located all around the world, with preference to Latin America countries.

2. Can I submit confidential information?
Do not submit confidential information. Only non-confidential information should be shared. Do not share any information that can be used to protect your solution through a patent.

3. What are the next steps for selected startups?
Selected startups will be invited for speed-dating meetings with J&J team.

4. What is the value of participating in this challenge?
Opportunity of mentoring with J&J experts, possibility to become a J&J partner/supplier and connect to the global J&J network.
