About the Challenge

At J&J we know that each type of skin and hair needs specific special care. Thinking about that and aiming to have a portfolio of products to take care of everyone, we are launching this challenge to startups and researchers dedicated to black skin and curly hair care, from early childhood to maturity.

We are looking for new knowledges, ingredients and products to be applied to:

» curly hair care of children up to 6 years old.
» black and brown skin care of children up to 6 years old (with focus on healthy skin development).
» black and brown teenagers and adults skin care (with focus on acne, dryness, sensibility uneven pigmentation, sun protection and aging).

1. Each stage and location are expected from the startups?
Challenge is open to startups and researchers in any development stage (in-vitro, in-vivo, clinical, prototype, commercial). Innovators can be located all around the world, with preference to Latin America countries.

2. Can I submit confidential information?
Do not submit confidential information. Only non-confidential information should be shared. Do not share any information that can be used to protect your solution through a patent.

3. What are the next steps for selected startups?
Selected startups will be invited for speed-dating meetings with J&J team.

4. What is the value of participating in this challenge?
Opportunity of mentoring with J&J experts to co-develop products for the globe, possibility to become a J&J partner/supplier and connect to the global J&J network.
